Note Book Donation Drive – 2015:
Note Book Donation Drive to the students in government schools is one of the W.H.Y Foundation’s flagship activity. It forms one of the major activity among all the activities done by W.H.Y.
The number of schools covered under the activity and number of students benefitted under the program is getting increased y-o-y (Year on Year).
2015 is said to be a successful year for W.H.Y as we are able to identify 41 number of schools and 5936 are the number of students benefitted under this program from various government schools of Hyderabad, RangaReddy and Medak districts.
With unmatched efforts by volunteers we were able to give away ~12,000 Notebooks to all the students who were present on the day of distribution.
Distribution of books was carried out in phase wise manner during below dates:
- 27th June 2015,
- 04th July 2015,
- 25th July 2015 and
- 15th August 2015
For the year 2014 we have identified 29 schools and over 3222 students got benefited out of the activity.
We have successfully covered these many number of schools only with the help of unmatched efforts of our volunteers during Books Donation Drive – 2015.
We heartily thank all the volunteers who took time and have been part of this activity despite of their busy schedules.
